• Union food processing minister harsimrat kaur badal virtually inagurated the zoram mega food park in Mizoram on july 21,2020 to boost the food processing industry in the north east state.
• The food park is expected to generate direct or indirect employment to 5,000 people and will benefit around 25,000 farmers.
• It is equiped with a dry warehouse of 3000 metric tonnes capacity and a cold storage of 1000 metric tonnes.
• The 55 acre Zoram food park is located at Khamrag village in Kolasib district , Mizoram.
• It is first mega food park operationalized in Mizoram
